And we’re off and running!

With a full house of inbound marketers and sales pros, the Salt Lake City HubSpot User Group got off to a strong start Tuesday morning. We covered a ton of ground - introducing the leaders of the group, and our purpose, which is to be a resource to HubSpot customers and a community for inbound marketers.

Things moved quickly, as they tend to do with Dan Tyre. The HubSpot OG spoke a bit about the Inbound Revolution and HubSpot’s role in it. Then I talked for a bit about the Lists tool, and only cursed once or twice (I get excited when holding microphones, for some reason).

Finally, Dan and Anna Norregaard went all Captain and Tennille on a topic that’s very near and dear to all of us - aligning sales and marketing. Their presentation was full of good ideas for anyone who’s struggled with keeping those two worlds in sync.

Don’t take my word for it, though. Check out the slides below:

Thanks to everyone who came out, we hope you learned something. Even more importantly, we hope you were able to connect with some peers who are also journeying down this inbound road. Be sure you hop over to the LinkedIn Group and join us there.

Hit the subscribe button up on the top right, and you’ll be the first to know when our next event is announced. If you’re interested in being on the leadership team, or if you’d like to speak at an upcoming event, please reach out to us through the feedback section on the home page.

Speaking of Inbound, we’re heading to the Inbound Conference in Boston September 8-11. We want YOU to be there (yes, you) as part of a strong SLC contingent. Between now and August, you can save $50 off registration by using promo code SaltLakeCityHUG15 at
