About Dan Tyre: 

Dan Tyre joined HubSpot as a member of the original team in May of 2007 as the first salesperson for the company. Since then, he has held various positions in sales, sales management, recruiting, training, and expansion of the HubSpot sales team as it has grown from a 10 person startup to $200M+ annual revenue & more than 175 high-performing sales professionals. HubSpot is now sold in 90 countries throughout the world.

Along the way, Dan worked in the Small Business Division, the Agency Partner Program & HubSpot for Start-Ups, helping early-stage entrepreneurs adopt inbound sales & marketing technology and processes to scale.

Dan is an authority on inbound marketing and sales and has become a regular speaker, blog writer, and coach for those who want to harness the power of inbound marketing to improve their bottom line. Dan believes that the chief component of success— be it personal or professional— is having the right attitude. He delivers weekly high-energy lectures on attitude to HubSpotters and business groups around the nation.

Dan believes in success but he also believes in service. He serves as a trusted advisor to several innovative businesses in education, technology, and finance. He also serves as a mentor for executives and young people with heart & ambition but a limited professional network through Kids@Hope, 1Mission and other philanthropic organizations.

A graduate of Colgate University, Dan has deep experience at the intersection of sales, marketing, and technology. Over a 30 year career, he has held positions as Area Director at Businessland; Founder & CEO of ALI Technologies; Co-Founder and VP of Sales at CelebraTech; Regional Manager of Groove Networks; and President of Helm Software.

He is married to Amy Tyre and they have two beautiful children.

Speaker Bio: As the CEO of a Certified HubSpot Partner Agency in Salt Lake City, Darin "Doc" Berntson bleeds orange, and lives in HubSpot portals all day, every day. His company, Bernco Media, helps companies of all sizes who use HubSpot to create inbound strategies that will work for their business, as well as train and support company staff on how to use HubSpot most effectively. 

Doc has been running the SLC HubSpot Users Group, along with co-leader Brandon Carter, for the last 3 years. He is married to Adriana, has one son Anthony, and lives for all things Disney (and HubSpot).
